About Me

I didn’t start in training. I grew up in sales.

My career began on the hotel floor, across sales and marketing roles with brands including Morgans Hotel Group, Design Hotels, Blakes Hotel, Pialligo Estate and The Dorchester Collection.

I’ve led teams, managed key accounts, developed commercial relationships and worked alongside the same sales leaders and teams I now support.

That experience shaped how I work today: I understand the commercial reality behind the numbers, and what it takes to turn a strategy into something people can actually use.

Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across luxury hospitality, developing sales strategies, leading teams, improving ways of working and designing programmes that build capability.

Most recently, I spent seven years with Dorchester Collection, creating and leading its first global sales training function. What began as a single role grew into a cross-market capability supporting commercial teams across 10 properties in the UK, France, Italy, Dubai and the US.

My Experience

Over the past seven years, I created and led a global sales capability function for Dorchester Collection, supporting commercial teams across 10 properties in the UK, France, Italy, Dubai and the US.

My work has included:

Commercial strategy and sales leadership
Sales process and performance improvement
Leadership and capability development
Onboarding and practical sales frameworks
Cross-functional ways of working
Coaching, observation and embedding change

My Philosophy

Good commercial thinking only creates value when it changes how people work.

My background in sales and marketing, combined with years spent designing and embedding capability, has taught me that lasting performance rarely comes from a single training intervention.

It comes from clarity, and the support to turn it into consistency.

Clarity about what matters, what good looks like, how people are expected to work, and what needs to change when the current way is no longer delivering.

That is why my work sits at the intersection of commercial thinking, organisational effectiveness and practical capability.

I look at the thinking, behaviours and ways of working behind performance — then help make them clearer, more practical and more sustainable.

Because the goal is not simply to know more.
It is to make better work easier to do.

What This Means In Practice

  • Clearer Commercial Decisions

Making strategy easier to understand, translate and act on — so people know what matters and where to focus.

  • More effective ways of working

Clarifying roles, processes and expectations so teams can spend less energy navigating complexity and more energy doing the work that matters.

  • Capability that lasts

Building practical capability through tools, coaching, observation and reinforcement — so improvement becomes part of how the business operates.
