Commercial thinking. Made practical.

I help luxury hospitality businesses turn commercial strategy into clearer thinking, stronger capability and more consistent ways of working.

‘‘When strategy needs to become practice’’

Luxury businesses rarely have a shortage of ideas.

The challenge is turning those ideas into ways of working that people understand, use and sustain.

That is where I work.

A 20-year career in sales and marketing. Seven years building capability at global scale.

Over the past seven years, I’ve had the rare opportunity to create and shape the first global sales training function for Dorchester Collection and its luxury hotels.

What started as a single role became a cross‑market function supporting sales and leaders across multiple properties and markets.

Along the way, I’ve worked at the intersection of commercial strategy, sales capability and organisational effectiveness — seeing first-hand where good thinking succeeds, where it gets lost, and what helps people actually change how they work.

My work has included

  • Building sales capability from the ground up

  • Designing practical sales frameworks, tools and standards

  • Developing leaders and sales teams

  • Improving sales processes and ways of working

  • Creating onboarding and capability programmes

  • Translating commercial priorities into everyday behaviours

  • Embedding change through coaching, observation and follow-through

What the work has taught me

Good talent can still struggle inside a poorly designed system.

A team can have the right talent, the right strategy and the right intentions — and still struggle to deliver consistently.

Sometimes the problem is capability.

Sometimes it is the process around them.

Sometimes different teams are working towards the same goal without a shared understanding of what good looks like.

And sometimes the organisation has created complexity where clarity is needed.

That’s where I look.

I look at what is happening beneath the numbers — where strategy gets lost in translation, where ways of working create friction, and where people need greater clarity to perform with confidence.

Because better performance rarely comes from simply asking people to try harder.

It comes from making it easier to do the right thing, consistently.

Why The Collective Atelier

Embedded Capability

Building capability that becomes part the business, rather than something delivered to it.

Through practical tools, coaching, observation and follow-through, I help change become consistent and sustainable.

Good commercial thinking is only valuable when it changes how people work.

I combine commercial thinking with practical understanding of how organisations work - helping luxury hospitality businesses turn good ideas into ways of working that last.

Organisational Effectiveness

Making the way people, teams and functions work together more effective.

I bring clarity to roles, processes and priorities so your talent can spend more time doing the work that matters.

Commercial Clarity

Turning strategy into ways of working that people understand, use and sustain.

I look at what needs to change beneath the surface - from sales processes and capability to the behaviours that influence commercial performance.
